This is about what I do with any information I get about you and your rights!
What personal data do I get if you get in touch with me via either my contact or comment forms?
If you send me any messages via either my contact form or my comments form from this website I get the information shown in both the contact and comments form. I also get your IP address and the type of web browser you are using. This helps me to detect and delete spam, fake news and trollers.
Contact forms & cookies
If you use my contact or my comment form to send me a message of any sort, you can opt-in to saving your name, e-mail address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when and if you send me another comment.
Embedded content from other websites
All of the content I have added to any page of my website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, newspaper & magazine articles, etc.). Any website links or embedded content you link to will behave in the exact same way as if you had visited the other website.
I will not share your information with anyone!
If you send me a comment, I will retain the comment and its associated metadata indefinitely. This is so I can recognise and approve any follow-up comments you may make automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have sent me any messages via either my contact or comment forms, you can, at any time, ask me to send you an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any personal information you have included. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. But this does not include any data I am obliged in law too keep for legal or security reasons.
